Aircooled VW-Engine Stand Yoke

No more trusting a thin, and poorly built $50 import stand to hold your $4000+ aircooled VW engine.  
Super sturdy 1/4” laser cut steel plate, and laser cut tube, fully welded with a big 220v welder. These engine stand yoke's are made with a 2 3/8” tube to fit older Harbor Freight, and most other typical V8 portable engine stands. 
Tab and slot design makes it very strong.  This one wont sag, and it rotates easily when fully loaded. The 4 arms also allow for full engine assembly while mounted, and it will easily support a fully dressed T1 or T4 engine.  Most 3 arm stands will not give you access to the #3 cylinder, or let you fit the 3/4 cylinder tin on.  2 arm stands place a huge load on the case mounting flange in 2 small areas at the bolt holes.

Fully welded, and shipped bare steel, so you can paint it whatever color you like.

These WILL NOT fit the newest (2024) Harbor Freight 1000lbs, or 2000lbs stands.  They made the top tube much smaller on the new version.  PLEASE MEASURE YOUR TUBE DIAMETER BEFORE ORDERING.  These have a 2 3/8" tube. 

This engine stand yoke will not work with the tube rotating handle that comes with some of the V8 style stands.  The handle is unnecessary on a lightweight VW engine, and you can just use the engine itself as a handle. A fully dressed engine will still rotate easily without the tube handle.
