Ball Joint FRONT Drop Spindle Disc Brake Conversion Kits, fits ’66-’77 Bug, Ghia

Better stopping power is something every classic air-cooled VW can use! AC Industries has done all the research necessary to provide complete kits for the Volkswagen Bug & Karmann Ghia to make the disc brake conversion process as painless as possible. Dropped spindles lower your Volkswagen approximately 2-1/4″. This kit will widen the front track of your Volkswagen by approximately 1/2″ per side.

Kit includes:
• (2) Rotors 
• (2) Ball joint dropped spindles
 • (2) Calipers with pads.
• Caliper mounting hardware

•USE THE PULL DOWN MENU TO SELECT YOUR BOLT PATTERN

NOTE: Requires 15″ wheels or larger. This kit will not work with 14″ wheels.

NOTE: Drop spindle uses ’68 and later VW Beetle bearings and seals available separately.  '66-'67 Beetles will need to order part #498490L

NOTE: 1966 to mid-1968 ball joint front suspensions will require the larger late style tie-rod end.  If you order a set of Type E narrowed tie-rods, they will come with the correct ends.
