These are the stem height gauges that I made back in the 70’s when I started doing head work. It wasn’t long before I realized how important recording stem heights on disassembly is. I could not resist yours for the price. I’m using a digital indicator and made a 1” standard. I set the indicator at or near the beginning of its travel and zero it.
