EZ-IRS Rear Disk brake kit

This rear disk brake kit provides all necessary components to finalize your Type E EZ-IRS kit installation: upgraded calipers with integrated parking brake mechanism, rotors matched to your bolt pattern specification, brake pads, 14mm screw-in wheel studs, and custom made e-brake cables for your vehicle's model year.  These calipers will bolt directly to the brackets welded to your EZ-IRS hubs.

Configure your setup via the drop down menu's for bolt pattern and year.

  • Stock wheel applications require the extended +1" wider rotor; depending on tire diameter, an additional outboard spacer may be necessary to maintain spring plate clearance.
  • Fourteen-inch stock steel bus wheels are compatible, BUT you WILL need to grind the caliper for clearance.
  • THIS KIT WILL NOT WORK ON STOCK BEETLE BASED IRS CONVERSIONS.  IT WILL ONLY WORK WITH THE TYPE E EZ-IRS KIT. 
  • THIS KIT WILL NOT WORK WITH STOCK REDUCTION BOXES.

What else can I say.. Superior Kits

I have become addicted to Mr. Brian's Kit's. People, people. Let's not make life complicated. In my arsenal I started with the "E.Z." IRS conversation kit. Then I decided to get the IRS small parts kit. Life couldn't have gone any easier. That brings me to Mr Brian naming his Kit's EZ. Yes from experience they make life in the VW conversation world, worth continuing for me to do the work myself. D.I.Y.! Mr Brian's creations are sent from the VW God's themselves .I personally Thank Mr Brian for what is truly his honest hard work. So we don't have to work hard. Thank you for making all our Classic/Vintage mechanical experience like it's written in your kits title .."E.Z." I will continue to support Mr. Brian as he is supporting our VW passion.
